Order before 2pm AEST, Monday to Friday (excluding NSW public holidays).
Enter your postcode at checkout. If you're inside the catchment below, select free next-business-day delivery.
We'll text or email you the afternoon before your delivery to confirm a delivery window and call you 1 hour before we arrive on the day. Your mattress is delivered by a Best in Beds driver - not a third-party courier - straight from our warehouse to your front door.

Orders placed after 2pm, on weekends, or on NSW public holidays will be dispatched the following business day and delivered the business day after that.

Because we don't hand your mattress off to a third-party freight company, we can guarantee a true next-business-day window. What about pre-order or made-to-order mattresses?

A number of premium ranges - including selected Yinahla and Sealy Posturepedic models - are made to order in Australia. These products will display a "Pre-order: usually ships in X weeks" badge on the product page. Pre-order items do not qualify for next-business-day delivery - your delivery window starts when the mattress is finished and ready to leave the factory.

Our entire Eco Kids, Sleep Firm and Morrison ranges are held in stock at our own warehouse and ready to dispatch the same day, so they all qualify for free next-business-day delivery when you order before 2pm.

White-glove delivery + setup: Bring your new mattress upstairs, place on your bed base, and remove all packaging.
Old mattress removal: We'll take your old mattress away for responsible recycling at the time of delivery.

Which postcodes get free next-business-day mattress delivery?

Free next-business-day delivery is available across four catchment blocks in NSW: Sydney Metro 2000–2234, Macarthur & Wollondilly 2555–2574, Western Sydney & Hawkesbury 2745–2774, and the Illawarra 2500–2529 (to Shellharbour). If your postcode is in any of these ranges and you order before 2pm AEST on a business day, free next-day delivery applies automatically at checkout.

What time do I need to order by for next-business-day delivery?

Order by 2:00pm AEST, Monday to Friday (excluding NSW public holidays). Because we dispatch from our own warehouse in our own trucks, the cut-off is later than most retailers. Orders placed after 2pm, on weekends, or on a public holiday will be dispatched the next business day and delivered the business day after that.

Which mattresses qualify for free next-day delivery?

Every mattress in our Eco Kids, Sleep Firm and Morrison ranges qualifies — they're all held in stock at our own warehouse and ready to dispatch the same day. A small number of premium ranges (selected Yinahla and Sealy Posturepedic models) are made to order in Australia and will show a 'Pre-order' badge on the product page with the current production lead time; those are excluded from the next-day program.

Is the delivery genuinely free, or are there hidden charges?

It's genuinely free. There are no fuel levies, no postcode surcharges and no booking fees inside the catchment listed above. Optional add-ons — upstairs delivery, full setup on your bed base, and old mattress removal — are paid extras you can request by replying to your delivery confirmation email.

Do you deliver to apartments or upstairs?

Yes, but standard free delivery is to a single ground-floor entry only. If you need the mattress brought upstairs or into a specific room, reply to your delivery confirmation email and ask for our white-glove delivery and setup add-on, and we'll arrange it for you.

Can you take my old mattress away?

Yes. Old mattress removal is a paid add-on. Reply to your delivery confirmation email to add it on, or let our driver know when they call you an hour before arrival. We send all removed mattresses to a licensed mattress recycler — not landfill.

What if my postcode isn't on the list?

We still deliver anywhere in NSW and across Australia — it just won't be free next-business-day. Standard freight charges and lead times may apply at checkout based on your postcode. For a quote before ordering, email dream@bestinbeds.com.au with the product and the delivery suburb.

Will someone need to be home to accept the delivery?

Yes. Someone aged 18 or over must be present at the delivery address to receive the mattress and check it on arrival. We'll confirm your delivery window the afternoon before, and our driver will call you about an hour before they arrive on the day so you know exactly when to expect us.

Do you deliver to Blue Mountains, Southern Highlands or the South Coast past Kiama?

Not under the next-business-day program. The locked next-day catchment is Sydney Metro 2000–2234, Macarthur & Wollondilly 2555–2574, Western Sydney & Hawkesbury 2745–2774, and the Illawarra to Shellharbour 2500–2529. For delivery to the Blue Mountains, Southern Highlands, Kiama, Gerringong or further south, we'll still ship — just on standard freight rates and timing. What happens if my mattress can't be delivered on the promised day?

If something genuinely outside our control (severe weather, road closures, or a supplier delay) means we can't hit next-business-day, we'll contact you as soon as we know and offer the next available slot. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected — see our Refund & Returns Policy for full details.
