How the 5% Lowest Price Guarantee works

If you find an identical, in-stock product advertised for less by an eligible Australian competitor, we'll not only match the price - we'll beat it by 5%.

  1. Record the lower advertised price - including any delivery and additional charges. A screenshot or photo dated on the same day is best.

  2. Contact us - by email dream@bestinbeds.com.au or phone 1300 399 676, before the competitor's advertised price expires.

  3. We'll verify your claim - and respond within 1 business day.

  4. Lie back and relax - if approved, you save an extra 5% off the competitor's price.


When you can make a claim

Before you buy

Make the claim before purchasing from Best in Beds. If approved, the purchase must be completed within 48 hours of approval at the agreed price. Evidence of the competitor's advertised price must show the identical item is in stock and at the lower price on the same day the claim is first made to us.

After you buy

Already purchased from Best in Beds? You can still claim - provided you do so within 7 business days of your purchase date (not the delivery date). In this case the competitor's advertised price does not have to be current at the time of your claim, but your evidence must show the identical item was in stock and at the lower price at the time you purchased from Best in Beds.


Eligibility - what qualifies

For a 5% Lowest Price Guarantee claim to be approved, the competitor's product must be:

  • Identical to the product stocked by Best in Beds - same brand, model, size, configuration, colour, warranty and inclusions;

  • In stock at the competitor's physical store or online store, and available for immediate purchase;

  • Sold by an established Australian retailer with a registered ABN, GST-inclusive pricing, and a publicly listed business address;

  • Delivered to your address at a total price (including freight) that is lower than ours (see "Delivery costs" below);

  • Currently advertised (not a verbal quote, member-only price, or unpublished offer); and

  • Not excluded under the list below.

You must also hold (or be about to make) a purchase with Best in Beds Pty Ltd (ABN 59 159 103 401) and provide a valid invoice or order reference when the claim is approved.

Delivery costs

We assess your claim on the total delivered price to your address. If the identical, in-stock product can be purchased and delivered to your location for a total price lower than ours, we'll beat that total by 5%. If we do not normally deliver the product to your location, we may still honour the claim for in-store pickup if pickup is available.


What's excluded

The 5% Lowest Price Guarantee does not apply to:

  • Non-identical products - different brand, model, size, configuration, colour, warranty or inclusions;

  • Package deals, bundles or "mattress + base" combinations;

  • Cashback, coupon, voucher or loyalty-discount offers (whether supplier, retailer or third-party);

  • Freebies, gift-with-purchase and "Buy X get Y free" promotions;

  • Member-only, trade, contract, commercial-quantity or staff-discount pricing (i.e. prices not available to the general public);

  • Clearance, run-out, ex-display, floor-stock, second-hand or "as is" items at either retailer;

  • Stock liquidations, receivership or fire-sale prices;

  • Custom-made, made-to-order or special-order products;

  • Products sold through external platforms or marketplaces such as Catch, eBay, Amazon, Kogan, Temple & Webster, TikTok Shop, Facebook Marketplace or Gumtree;

  • Pricing or display errors at either retailer;

  • Verbal or unadvertised prices, including "best we'll do" verbal offers;

  • Freight, delivery, assembly or removal charges as standalone items (these are only factored in when calculating the total delivered price - see above); and

  • Bulk purchases / commercial quantities - we reserve the right to limit sales to reasonable retail quantities.


How to claim

You'll need:

  1. Evidence of the competitor's price - a screenshot of the website (with date and URL visible), a photo of an in-store ticket, a copy of a catalogue, or a printed advertisement. The evidence must clearly show:

    • the product (matching brand, model, size, colour, configuration);

    • the competitor's price (including any delivery cost);

    • the competitor, with their trading name visible;

    • the date the price was advertised; and

    • that the product is in stock.

  2. Your details - name, contact number, delivery suburb/postcode and (for after-purchase claims) your Best in Beds order or invoice number.

Lodge your claim by:

We'll respond within 1 business day. If approved, we'll apply the 5%-beaten price to your order (before purchase) or refund the difference to your original payment method (after purchase). If we decline a claim, we'll give you a written explanation referring to the relevant clause of these terms.


General

  • The 5% Lowest Price Guarantee is offered by Best in Beds Pty Ltd (ABN 59 159 103 401).

  • One claim per item per customer. The guarantee cannot be combined with our 30 Day Best Price Promise on the same item - you may use one or the other.

  • We may decline a claim where we reasonably believe the competitor's advertised price is not genuine, the product is not identical, the product is not actually in stock at the competitor, or where one of the exclusions above applies.

  • We may update or withdraw this guarantee at any time. The version published on our website at the time you make your claim will apply to that claim.

  • Nothing in these terms limits any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

The product must be in stock and available for immediate purchase. Online marketplaces like Catch, eBay, Amazon, Kogan, Temple & Webster, TikTok Shop, Facebook Marketplace and Gumtree are excluded.
What counts as an identical product?
The competitor's product must be identical — same brand, model, size, configuration, colour, warranty and inclusions. Similar products, lookalike models or different-spec versions of the same brand don't qualify.
Does the Lowest Price Guarantee include delivery costs?
Yes — Best in Beds assesses each claim on the total delivered price to your address. If the identical, in-stock product can be purchased and delivered to your location for a total price lower than Best in Beds, they will beat that total by 5%.
What if Best in Beds doesn't deliver to my area?
If Best in Beds doesn't normally deliver to your address, they may still honour the claim for in-store pickup at Campbelltown or Warrawong, subject to availability.
What's excluded from the 5% Lowest Price Guarantee?
The guarantee doesn't apply to non-identical products; package deals or bundles; cashback or coupon offers; freebies and 'buy X get Y free' promotions; member-only, trade or commercial pricing; clearance, ex-display, run-out, second-hand or 'as is' items; stock liquidations and fire-sale prices; custom-made or special-order products; online marketplaces; verbal or unadvertised prices; or genuine pricing errors.
Can I combine the Lowest Price Guarantee with the 30 Day Best Price Promise?
No — only one price guarantee applies per item. The 5% Lowest Price Guarantee covers a lower price at a competitor; the 30 Day Best Price Promise covers a price drop at Best in Beds itself within 30 days of your purchase.
